The 1st Legal Finder Devathon

A whole weekend to reflect, look back, analyze, and above all develop new features on Legal Finder: this is the principle of the first devathon that Legal Finder organized this weekend of August 1st and 2nd. The whole team was able to meet, remotely in the current context, in order to work on the new features Legal Finder is preparing.

After a first morning of general reflection and review of the past year, which resulted in more than thirty ideas for improvements to the website, the team then spent Saturday afternoon preparing its battle plan for the rest of the devathon. Once it was all ready, they set to work.

The result after this intense weekend: a few fixations on design bugs, a new "Advanced Search" tab that allows you to search directly by legal area if you know what you need, as well as a ribbon on the home page that lists these legal areas (clicking on an area takes you directly to a search page that gives you the lawyers in that area), and finally a pop-up explaining the possible searches so that your process of finding a lawyer on our website is clearer and more understandable for everyone.

Nevertheless, this is only the beginning, as some projects also started during this devathon, although they could not be finished before the end of the weekend. You will soon be able to discover a new appointment request form, which is more complete, better adapted, and with specific questions in certain legal fields to enable lawyers to clearly evaluate the files submitted to them. In the same way, lawyers will soon be able to offer a fee quote for clients wishing to make an appointment, in the interests of clarity and to facilitate contact. All of this should be completed during the month of August, so that we can continue to offer you better services.
