Legal Finder announced today the launch of its first fundraising campaign. Looking to raise a modest €50,000, the startup mainly targets small investors in their network, or one or two Business Angels who can come and advise them. To do this, they offer interested parties the opportunity to invest through "tickets" that start at a minimum amount of €2,500.
"We are aware that we are looking for a limited amount here. It is not for lack of ambition, on the contrary. After a year and three months of operation, Legal Finder has proven that its concept works. It is now time for us to accelerate our expansion" explained Matthieu Sarrazin, CEO and Founder of the startup.
"We have the advantage of being able to expand at low cost, whether in the development of new products or in accessing new European countries, thanks to our internal resources and our good knowledge of the European legal landscape and the LegalTechs market. This is why we are looking for a reduced amount" continued Matthieu Sarrazin. "We could have considered a larger levy, but it is not always wise to want to grow too fast or to have the folie des grandeurs. We think that this levy will be the perfect springboard to launch into other neighbouring countries and offer a wider range of products. Only once we have demonstrated our ability to diversify and acquire new markets will we seek to raise much more funds".
