Containment accelerates the digitalisation of the legal sector

The 8 weeks of confinement have indeed had a significant impact on professionals who only considered their functions with a face-to-face relationship with clients. As a result, many of them turned to LegalTechs, which allows them to pursue their activities on the Internet. At the same time, LegalTechs has taken advantage of this unexpected and unprecedented break to add new products to its offerings.

What about Legal Finder ? Our conclusion is slightly delayed. Indeed, in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, confinement has mainly been synonymous with a break. While many lawyers have seen the interest of being present online, our activity has not accelerated during the confinement. On the other hand, since the deconfinement began, activities have resumed at high speed and it is there that we have noted a real acceleration. The number of lawyers registered on the site has increased by more than 15%, and the number of requests for appointments with lawyers has tripled over the last month compared to April, in full containment.

However, we agree with the article from La Nouvelle République regarding the development of our products. We have indeed taken advantage of the confinement to develop a brand new tool, which will enable lawyers to exchange with their clients directly online (online chat, video conference, secure document exchange, real-time monitoring of the progress of the case, etc.). We hope that it will be perfectly adapted to the needs of lawyers and that it will also contribute to our growth.
